DJ Modi sells Moddisons Cosmetics to Trevor Edwards

2001

Moddisons Stores sold to the Nu-Clicks Group

Moddisons rage of personal care products retained by Trevor Edwards under the trading name of Modex Cosmetics

2004

Modex Cosmetics acquires the premium ethnic hair care brand, Caivil

 
2004

Modex makes significant complimentary medicines acquisition with Kamillen (Hercules)

2005

Trevor Edwards acquires Reckit factory and changes the company name to Enaleni Pharmaceuticals

2006

EPCD sells ‘own premises’ and moves to Enaleni Pharma facility

 
2006

Modex name change to Enaleni Pharmaceuticals (Consumer Division)

June 2007

EPCD employees are notified that the division was to be sold

 
August 2007

Short list of 4 companies announced for the final bid for EPCD (ie Marico, Godrej, Amka and empowerment co)

The Marico Due Diligence process begins

Marico is announced as the successful bidder
